Please read these Terms of Use carefully. These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) form a binding contract between you and Studyne.net (“Studyne,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms govern your right to use Studyne’s services (the “Services”), regardless of how you access them—whether by computer, mobile device, or otherwise—and whether you are a registered user or a guest. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to and accept all of these Terms. If you do not agree, you are not authorized to use the Services and must stop using them immediately.
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a notice on the Site or by sending a notice by email. You are responsible for reviewing any updates. Changes are effective immediately upon posting or notification.
Studyne.net provides a marketplace where people seeking tutoring services (“Students”) can connect with people offering tutoring services (“Tutors/Experts”). Students are responsible for selecting the right tutor for their needs. In making a hiring decision, Students should review each tutor’s self‑reported education and experience, as well as reviews from other Students on the tutor’s Studyne profile.
We operate in accordance with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act). Our Services are intended for individuals age 18 or older. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13.
If you are between 13 and 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or legal guardian (who should be over 21) and confirm that you understand and agree to follow them.
You acknowledge and agree that Studyne’s Services are provided for learning, information, and guidance only—not for cheating. You may not use Studyne to have a tutor complete assignments, write papers, take quizzes, or perform academic work on your behalf. You also may not use the Services in a way that violates the academic honesty or conduct policies of your school, university, institution, or workplace.
By submitting an order and/or making a payment, you purchase a Product for your personal, non‑commercial use only. Products are drafted by independent contributors who transfer rights and ownership to the Company. Products and Tutorials are generally non‑refundable and provided without warranties, except where explicitly stated in these Terms.
Studyne does not provide answers or educational content itself; we host a marketplace. We are not liable for acts or omissions of Users, or for the accuracy, completeness, or quality of their content. Content is provided for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional or academic advice.
You agree to comply with all intellectual property and trademark laws. You may not copy, upload, transmit, distribute, reproduce, sell, or modify Studyne content without our prior written consent, or in a way that infringes intellectual property rights.
Studyne owns all rights in and to the Services and related intellectual property, including patents, inventions, copyrights, trademarks, domain names, trade secrets, and know‑how. Unauthorized use, publication, or exploitation is prohibited.
If we suspect misuse (including plagiarism or redistribution), we may cancel membership and stop any form of cooperation. Using delivered products as your own work may be considered plagiarism. Materials are for reference and research.
By using the Website and Services, you agree to:
You agree to use the Services in a lawful, ethical, and respectful manner. Prohibited behavior includes, without limitation:
We may remove user‑provided content and suspend or block accounts for Terms violations or fraudulent financial activity, without prior notice.
You agree to follow Studyne’s payment policies. Students pay for Services through Studyne only.
Refund requests are assessed on a case‑by‑case basis. An answer may be considered unsatisfactory if it is overdue or does not follow the question’s instructions. If you receive an unsatisfactory answer, first request a revision from the tutor. If that does not resolve the issue, you may contact support with the reason for your request.
This section applies only if you sign up and use the platform as a Tutor/Expert. If you sign up as a Student, these tutor‑specific obligations do not apply to you.
You are solely responsible for all Answers and Tutorials you provide through Studyne. You represent and warrant that you have the rights required to post your content and that it does not infringe any third‑party rights. Answers and Tutorials may be read, collected, and used by others. To protect your privacy, do not include personal contact information in your posted content.
After submitting Answers and Tutorials, Studyne will own them. You assign to Studyne all right, title, and interest in and to such content. Studyne grants you a limited, nonexclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use and distribute your own content for as long as Studyne permits.
Suspensions may prevent bidding on new questions. Bans are permanent and may result in withholding remaining tutor balance to cover disputes and platform damages. Studyne may conduct verification processes for tutors.
The Services and all content are provided on an “AS‑IS” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non‑infringement, or uninterrupted/error‑free use. Studyne does not guarantee any specific results.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions, the above limitations may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Studyne and its officers, directors, employees, agents, service providers, licensors, suppliers, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, Studyne’s total liability for any loss or damage arising out of or related to these Terms will not exceed the amount paid by you to Studyne in the prior six months, or $350, whichever is greater.
The laws of Nicosia, Cyprus (excluding its conflict of law rules) govern this Agreement and your use of the Services. To the extent a dispute may be brought in court, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Cyprus County, Nicosia.
